I bought this scope used and have to say that it is very nice and easy to use.

The set up takes all of about 5 to 10 minutes, and then it finds everything for you. First night out we saw Saturn and a couple of her moons.

I then installed the solar filter and was able to check out the Venus cruising across the front of the sun. Very cool!! Spots on the sun showed up too.

Only draw back would be that the scope is heavy to move, but it is worth it. (Posted on 6/10/12)

I bought my CPC 1100 from Starizona about 4.5 years ago. It's easy to level (which is important), and aligning is a breeze in the dark, or even before dark using a planet align on Venus.

I've gotten some deep sky shots, but a wedge mount is definitely required to get anything over a few seconds in duration. That's my next purchase, along with a solar filter for the upcoming eclipse!! (Posted on 2/14/12)
