I don't know why all of a sudden I got into astronomy, maybe because of all this 2012 rumors; but I've always been curious about science and when I was a kid I used to buy binoculars and experiment kits, anyway... This telescope is more than you can ask for the price, I bought mine for $83 at Frys, and it retails for $169... I'm very pleased with the quality and sturdiness, someday I will be able to afford their best one for $10,000. Thank you Celestron.
