It's nice when what you buy actually performs as well as you hoped. My Nexstar 6 SE does exactly that. Good optics. Easy to use, even for a novice. I would recommend also purchasing the Power Tank. This machine does use batteries up. And the power tank will pay for itself in no time if you will be using your telescope frequently.
