Celestron Event in Alpes
Here are some photos of the Celestron event on top of "Wendelstein Mountain" (1.724 meters or 5.656 feet high) in the Bavaria Alpes. The photos were sent to us by staff of BAADER PLANETARIUM, our distributor located in Germany.
"We had the chance to present the brand during an public event last weekend, called 'Astro Night'", writes Michael Risch. "One of the most popular German Science TV Show presenters, Prof. Dr. Harald Lesch held speeches about Astronomy on two evenings. In the breaks and after his speeches we showed the Moon and Saturn to hundreds of fascinated visitors. We have been lucky because the mountaintop is higher than most of the rain clouds!"
