What is the benefit of ordering through Celestron's web store?
Our online shopping service is designed to make it easy for you to locate and purchase the special products you need. When you order and pay online, our intelligent system starts working to ensure rapid delivery.

Is my order fulfilled by Celestron?
Orders are not fulfilled by Celestron. Your order will be fulfilled by the closest Celestron dealer that has your desired product in stock, we use a service called Shopatron to handle the transaction.

Does the web store sell all of Celestron's products?
We only have opened the web store for selected items. Items available for online ordering are listed in the left margin. More items may be added in the future. If you wish to purchase Celestron products that are not available in our web store, please use our dealer locater to view the list of our authorized dealers.

I live outside of the US, can I still purchase from the Web Store?
At this time we do not accept orders from customers outside of the US.

What methods of payment are acceptable?
Shopatron currently accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover only. We do not accept COD or PO orders at this time.

Can I place my order by Telephone, Postal Mail, Fax, or Email Order?
We do not accept orders by Telephone, Postal Mail, Fax, or Email at this time. Sending credit card numbers by email is not secure, and we do not recommend ever doing this.

If my order is being fulfilled by the retailer closest to me, does that mean I will have to pay sales tax?
Tax may be applied to your order if it ships from the same state or province as your shipping address. In this case the order total that you see at checkout will be adjusted to add in the tax amount appropriate for your location. You can elect to be notified if tax applies to your order by email at Step 2 of your Order Checkout.

Is shipping included in the listed price?
Shipping is not included in the listed price. Celestron uses multiple shipping rules to determine shipping and handling charges. Please see your shopping cart for an estimate of the exact shipping charges pertaining to your order.

In the very unlikely event that shipping charges will be higher than originally estimated, you will be notified by email before charges are made to the credit card. Expedited shipments (1 and 2 day air) are not available at this time.

Why are prices on the Celestron website higher than some of the prices on dealer's websites?
We believe there is a value in the convenience of one-stop shopping and guaranteeing a product is in-stock. Please note that lower prices may be available by purchasing directly through a Celestron dealer’s website.
