Answer When your SkyScout is connected to your computer via the USB cable, the SkyScout Upgrade Application will display the following information:
·       Current firmware version
·       Connection status
·       Serial number of your SkyScout
·       Voltage reading

If the serial number of your SkyScout displays any letters other than "-ES", you will need to run the ITtoESFix program prior to upgrading the firmware.

To run the ITtoESFix program:
·       Click on the link above
·       Unzip the contents of the zip file into a new folder on your C: drive
·       Make sure the SkyScout is connected and powered on
·       Make sure SkyScout upgrade application is not running

·       Press the Start Button

·       Click on the Run Command
·       Press the Browse Button in the Run box
·       Find the folder where you saved the program and select the file ITtoESFix
·       Press the OK button to run the program

Now you should be able to upload new Spanish firmware to your SkyScout.
