 Leveling your telescope mount
Answer

For the best use of your telescope, level your tripod before observations begin.

This is especially important for your equatorial Omni CG-4 mount because it affects polar-aligning the scopes.

First, set up on a relatively flat and level site. Second, check the inclination of the tripod by using the built-in bubble level located on the mount base. Adjust the length of the tripod legs by unlocking and shortening or lengthening them as needed until the bubble is centered in the level.
