Why does my NexStar GT or GTL telescope point 15 degrees away from where it should?
Answer The scope relies on your input to get the correct time-site information. If you neglect to change daylight savings time, your scope will be 15 degrees off west or east when the time changes in the spring and fall.  Double-check your time zone and daylight savings choices under SETUP - TIME-SITE or by editing them when first initializing your alignment procedure.
