 How do I manually move my NexStar SE scope?
Answer Your NexStar telescope is designed to be motor-driven under control of its GOTO firmware. The hand control functions and arrow keys allow it to point anywhere in the sky.

Manual motions are only possible in altitude (up-down). You can easily position the scope for transport or safety by pointing the tube downwards.

It cannot be manually moved in azimuth (left-right) without possible damage to the drive mechanism.
