 When I upgraded my German SkyScout, it changed to English language. What can I do?
Answer First, with your SkyScout off, plug it in to your computer.  Then hold down the HELP button while powering on the SkyScout.  This will put your SkyScout into a "Safe Mode".  After this try re-flashing the firmware on your SkyScout again. Start by clicking “Check for updates” and make sure to allow time for any upgrades to download. Install the new firmware for your SkyScout.

If the problem persists, contact Celestron for repair or replacement of your SkyScout.
