How do I force-manually install the SkyScout drivers with Windows?
Answer You can force-manually install the SkyScout drivers with Windows.

Access the Device Manager on your PC (Control Panel-System-Hardware- Device Manager). You’ll see a list of all the items (peripherals and internal components) connected to or used by your computer.

Turn off your SkyScout, plug it in to your PC, then turn on the SkyScout. If you have sound enabled on you PC, the double tone for connection will be heard. Device Manager will show the SkyScout connected under Other Devices or Universal Serial Bus controllers.  Look for the yellow exclamation or question mark symbol. Select and either click or right-click on the SkyScout line item.

There will be an option for installing drivers. Alternatively the Found New Hardware Wizard may appear. Insert the CD. Select automatic installation or browse for the driver location.
