 My NexStar hand control has firmware version 4.19. Yet when I use the latest NexRemote with my scope, I can only get version 4.16. What gives?
Answer NexRemote allows you to choose both the mount and firmware versions to control your computerized telescope (through its hand control) with your PC.

NexRemote releases are usually done after hand control firmware releases and at less frequent intervals. So the latest version choices occurring in NexRemote may not be as current as the latest versions of your scope’s hand control firmware.
