 I can’t get my Digital LCD & Camera Microscope Accessory (#44430) to show an image. What’s wrong?
Answer The camera accessory has a SD card slot for optional use with a secure digital (SD) memory card. To occupy the slot and to keep it clean during shipping and in storage, there is a protective plastic insert that’s shaped like a SD card.

The fake card keeps open the contact that allows the camera to display images on the LCD. Pulling the card out closes the contact.

Don’t forget to remove the fake card to let the camera show what you are looking at with your microscope on the display – even if you aren’t using a real SD card.
