 Will the NexImage achieve focus with my Onyx 80EDF?
Answer The NexImage CCD camera is relatively compact, much smaller than a DSLR and most other CCD, film and digital cameras. It also has a relatively short nosepiece. The Onyx drawtube’s back travel is approximately 3-1/4”. The combined length is not enough to put the focal plane inside an attached NexImage when used for straight-through prime focus imaging.

The solution is to use either a star diagonal  or extension tubes for a 2” focuser. They will bridge the gap and allow infinity focus with NexImage.
