How do I put the neck strap on my binoculars?
Answer Though it can be done in many ways, here’s one good way that is secure and that won't be twisted.

Choose the side of the strap that you want against your neck.

Get the two small buckles and the strap and lay the strap neck side down on a table.

On either side, slide both buckles onto the strap about 6 inches in from the ends of the strap. Orient them so the strap is coming up in the middle of the buckle - not dipping down into the buckle. Avoid twisting the strap so you are working the same side of the strap with both buckles.

Now to attach the strap to the binoculars themselves, first place the binoculars on a table with the objectives facing you, strap holders up. The strap should be with the side you want on your neck down. Take one end of the strap and thread it under the fitting and loop it back towards you. Again avoid twisting. Thread the strap back into the top of the buckle so it's layered on top of the strap already threaded in the buckle. Pass through about 1-2 inches, enough so it won't slide back through and come undone.

Finally, grasp the wide part of the strap and tug to be sure it's all snug.

Enjoy your new binoculars!
