 I’m running my scope with Maxim DL or similar software through the hand control and my mount slews in RA, stops then jerks when first powered up. What’s wrong?
Answer It’s the third party software that’s causing it.  Sometimes it will leave a command in a buffer that will act on your mount upon power up.

Shutdown your program, shut down the mount, disconnect everything, and reconnect just your hand control and power up your mount to clear the situation.
