You are confusing software with firmware. When you go to our manuals/drivers download page on the celestron.com website,

http://www.celestron.com/c3/downloads.php

you will see links for two software programs. Their version numbers are given as part of the text of the link.

Once these software programs are installed and run on a PC, you can choose the proper firmware versions you wish to download and install on your mount.
