If you are replacing your old 8-pin board with a new 6-pin board from Celestron (#NXW436) , then you will also need to replace both motors with the new motors (#E8-B00-19A for Alt/Dec and #E80-B00-19 for Azm/RA).  The old motors won’t work with the new motor board.
