With your iOS device, (either an iPhone iPad or iPod touch) you can use a network discovery tool such as FING to identify devices on the local network.

 

FING is also available as a Windows tool but the Windows version does not use a graphical interface.

 

FING also presents MAC (Media Access Control) addresses of devices on the network.  The software creators website is

http://overlooksoft.com

 

The FING app is available from the Apple Store:
