For the best use of your telescope, level your tripod before observations begin. This is especially important for your LCM mount because it affects SkyAlign.
First, set up on a relatively flat and level site, attach the tube, and balance the scope. Second, check the inclination of the tripod by using the bubble level either on the accessory tray or on the flat mount top. Adjust the length of the tripod legs by unlocking and shortening or lengthening them as needed until the bubble is centered in the level. For best results, make sure the tripod is stable and undisturbed after leveling it.
NOTE: Use care not to lean on the tripod, as it's designed to only hold the weight of the scope and excessive extra force may break the spreaders or other parts.
