Does the Nightscape camera have autoguiding capability?
Answer

Just like many other astronomical CCD cameras, the Nightscape can be used as an autoguider.

You will require additional software that Celestron doesn't provide with the Nightscape.  Such software can be downloaded from the Internet, some of it for free.  Examples include MetaGuide, PhD and Guide Dog.

Celestron telescopes support pulse guiding through the hand control. Our mounts would not need any additional equipment besides a cable from the camera to the base of the hand control. (Celestron does not sell such a cable at present.)

If the autoguider port is used, then an adapter box would be needed.

Other brands of mounts would also require adapter boxes.  These are made by Shoestring Astronomy and are available from many astronomy retailers.
