When I try to save a picture taken with the Nightscape using AstroFX, the images are saved in black and white. What’s wrong?
Answer

When you take a single image with the Nightscape #95555, it will appear in color. However, it won’t save in color in formats like JPEG and TIFF because it has not been converted to color.

AstroFX will display “Quick Color” next to the image file name. After calibrating and stacking the image with others, AstroFX will automatically perform a full color conversion.

If you want to see a single saved image in color, first convert the uncalibrated image to color by right clicking on it and choosing “Make Full Color”. This step is not needed when stacking images.
