 My StarPointer is not working. How can I fix this?

The battery clip may not making contact with the battery.

In order to fix this problem, start by removing the battery cover underneath the front of the starpointer. You will see a clip as seen in the picture below.

Remove the battery.

Bend the contact slightly towards the body of the starpointer (where the battery was) to improve the contact . Re-insert  the battery.

This starpointer is the #51630 model and is on these Celestron scopes:
