 Does the SkyProdigy work with SkyQ Link?
Answer Yes, SkyQ Link will work with SkyProdigy. However, SkyQ Link does not use SkyProdigy’s StarSense automatic alignment technology.

Instead, when connected to SkyProdigy, SkyQ Link will use a two star alignment just as it does with other compatible Celestron GOTO mounts. SkyQ Link will prompt you what to do next, again just as it does when used with the other mounts.

When plugged into the SkyProdigy, SkyQ Link overrides the SkyProdigy’s alignment functions and handles the entire alignment for the mount. It takes over all alignment functions from the SkyProdigy whether or not the hand control is still connected.
