Used with a high quality microscope the camera gives outstanding results. I use it with a Windows 7 64 bit machine. At first I couldn't get the software that comes with it to recognize the camera even though other programs I had worked just fine. Turned out I had to use compatibility mode to make Win7 operate the program in XP mode. This should be updated by software manufacturer. For the price it gives as good of results as cameras at least three times the price. The software that comes with it works fine although other software might be more versatile for some people. The images can be processed with Photo Shop or similar to bring out even better detail. One thing that would be a HUGE plus for this camera...come up with a driver so it can be used with an Android tablet such as my ASUS T300. That tablet has a USB port and if it could be used with that it would have a big market among medical lab people. I have already heard from several professors, doctors and lab people who are trying to use it with an Android tablet. There is a market for some APP developer to enter their Android solution.
