This scope is one of my favorite short scopes. The imaging is very good and as a beginner still I'm having a wonderful time with it.

I just purchased the Celestron ep's kit and look forward to enjoying some more imaging.

I would only say this about the battery life for the movement of the the scope is that you get high quality batteries or a power cord extension from the car.
