Deluxe Handheld Digital Microscope

This is probably one of the easiest Digital Microscope on the market to setup and use. This is GREAT for beginner to advanced photo enthusiast that wants to get good close up images or video. With the provided software it can be a standalone camera or it easily interacts with Photoshop or Corel Draw via TWAIN drivers. I have used it with Photoshop CS3, CS4 and now with CS5.1 and never had an issue.
Pros: Easy set up, Easy to use, very good images can be handheld or used on the provided sturdy adjustable chrome stand, can capture images or video by mouse click or from the nice size red button on the top of the camera. Holds focus well even after moving the camera about the desk.
Con: There is no on/off button on the camera. The LED lights come on and stay on while the camera is plugged in to the USB hub or computer. It has a manual focus from the side of the camera that has some resistance while turning but I had rather have it a bit hard to turn than it be so easy to turn that it loses focus easily. The LED lighting is very good, not great, but good general lighting. So far the only issues I have had with the lighting is that the extra bright LEDs tend to leave hot spots on coins or any shiny surface. This is not a bad thing but if you do not have imaging editing tools it can be a little disappointing.
Overall: This is a great camera and for the price. I use it for capturing images of coins to sell on eBay and I did have one complaint from a buyer. He said that the picture of a coin I sold made the coin look a little better than the original coin. Other than cropping the image I made no image corrections. That cannot be a bad thing!
