So far the camera has upheld my expectations. Produces a good quality photo with little noise and artifacting even before you add dark and bias frames to the stack. AstroFX is a bit clunky and could definitely use a make-over, but is generally easy and straight forward to use. For new comers it's a good camera for quality and price, but there is definitely a learning curve and you should do your homework before getting into astrophotography.
