My wife bought me this scope for Christmas as I had been on at her that I wanted a quality scope, set up is easy, best to view video of how to on Youtube.
Its a great scope for the money, im guessing however that Celestron keep the price down in the facet that supply great tube, but eye pieces and not their best, im going to have to upgrade the eye pieces as the 20mm dose't have the same screw thread option to allow you to add different filters, so now need to pay out £38 - £65 for new eye piece so I can use filter, and im told the better quality the eye piece the better the object appears in the eye piece, ive been recommended to buy (by Astronomia in Dorking) to save chopping and changing between eye pieces to use a Baader Clicstop eyepiece which will make viewing superb.
Only other issue I have with the scope is aligning the view finder on top, its a huge astle.
Other than that I give this scope a 9/10
can also with the click stop lens adapt for astro photography with a slr camera.
