When your SkyScout is connected to your computer via the USB cable, the SkyScout Upgrade Application will display the following information: - Current firmware version
- Connection status
- Serial number of your SkyScout
- Voltage reading
If the serial number of your SkyScout displays any letters other than “-ES”, you will need to run the “ITtoESFix” program prior to upgrading the firmware. To run the “ITtoESFix” program: - Unzip the contents of the zip file into a new folder on your C: drive.
- Make sure the SkyScout is connected and powered on.
- Make sure SkyScout upgrade application is not running
- Press the Start Button
 - Click on the Run Command
- Press the Browse Button in the Run box
- Find the folder where you saved the program and select the file called “ITtoESFix”
- Press the OK button to run the program.
