SkyMaster 15x70 Binocular

I bought these binos primarily to get into astronomy more, but they are great for earth views too.

Pros:

--High quality optics for the price
-- Awesome terrestrial views of mountains and birds
-- Wonderful night sky viewing, making many more stars visible
--Awesome views of the moon

Cons:
--Included photo tripod adapter is junk -- too much wobbling. I bought an L-bracket and some bolts from the hardware store and was in business. I see Celestron has discontinued the bracket.
-- Planet views are marred by red ghostly margins on the edge of the object, which I have since found out is called chromatic aberration -- apparently a common problem with binoculars.
