Two years after my purchase I still feel this is one of the best values in computerized GOTO telescopes in the marketplace.

The mount is accurate for visual use and works very well for imaging the moon and planets with a webcam. Once you are familiar with the process the GOTO functionality is simple and accurate. The Hand controller and software are intuitive in use.

The C8 optical tube sports fine optics with little mirror shift when focusing,

Lightweight, simple to operate and wonderful to look through, the Celestron Nexstar 8 SE is a terrific value and system I am proud to own.
