WHERE DO YOU CELESTRON?
Tony: I Celestron at several dark sky locations within a few hours drive of my home in the Eastern Sierra town of Bishop. On September 7th 2013 I attended the East Bay Astronomical Society’s Annual High Altitude Star Party at the Barcroft High Altitude Research Station in California’s White Mountains. I was able to capture stunning images of the Horsehead Nebula shooting through my friend Suguru Araki’s Celestron CGE Edge HD 9.25. I also captured the Andromeda Galaxy from an elevation of 12,500 feet using my 36MP Nikon D800E with a 300mm f/2.8 lens mounted on my Celestron CG-5 Computerized Mount.
