Is the dovetail bracket clamp on the fork arm of the NexStar SE mounts all metal?

The structural parts for the dovetail clamp on the fork are made of die cast aluminum. The knob on the clamp handle and the aesthetic cover that goes over the clamping mechanism are made of plastic.
