Generation Exo-Planet

Biography

Eclipse chaser, meteorite hunter, science vlogger, and amateur astronomer, Theo’s passion for astronomy began when he was 7 years old in the Science & Nature Program at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.  He received a NexStar SE that Christmas. Ever since, he can be found most Friday nights, observing the night sky on the rooftop of his building.

The 2017 Great American Eclipse in Wyoming was a transformational experience for Theo, who plans to share the beauty and awe of totality by livestreaming the next five eclipses to science museums, schools, and children around the world.

From meteorite hunting in the Sahara Desert, to observing the synchronous fireflies in the Great Smoky Mountains, to chasing the aurora borealis in the Arctic Circle, Theo’s vlog site for kids spans the globe. Inspired by nature’s wonders, he interviews the world’s leading scientists, astrophysicists and thought leaders.

Interviews with:

  • Geoff Notkin and Steve Arnold, the Meteorite Men (from the Science Channel) in Morocco.
  • Brother Guy Consolmagno, the Director of the Vatican Observatory, in Castel Gandolfo, Italy.
