How do I get the various magnifications with my Handheld Digital and Optical Microscope #44306?

When the microscope is in the low-power position and used with the eyepiece, the objective lens in the tube is positioned up in the microscope’s body. With the microscope placed with the clear bezel in contact with a surface, the optical magnification is 8x. This varies as one lifts the microscope off the surface and above a subject to 4x.

For the eyepiece used with the microscope on high (objective low in the body), the optical magnification is 50x.

Exchanging the camera for the eyepiece gives the following digital magnifications: low position with bezel contacting the surface, 40x; microscope slightly above surface and subject, varies down to 20x; high position is 200x.
