I'm getting the message Digital Microscope Suite 2 cannot support your operating system when attempting to run it in Windows 7 32- and 64-bit. What can I do?

Even though the #44421 Digital Microscope Imager itself is fully plug-and-play for Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit, the image capture software packaged with some of the microscopes may show this message.
You can work around the "Digital Microscope Suite 2 cannot support your operating system so far" problem by using the compatibility feature in Windows 7.
Right click on the program icon on your desktop for the Digital Microscope Suite. Go down to and click on the properties option. Select the compatibility tab. In the drop-down box at top choose "Run this program in compatibility mode as" and select Windows XP Service Pack 2. Click okay to close the window.
Now double-click on the Digital Microscope Suite icon. Click yes on the permission box when it comes up. The program can now display images from your microscope.
