My Advanced GT (CG-5) mount clicks every second in RA. What’s wrong?

This is probably caused by misalignment of the two gears attached to the RA motor. Try repositioning the motor with respect to the gears. Be sure they are making contact, but aren’t too tight so that they will bind. Another possible culprit is gear damage. Inspect the gears for chipped or damaged teeth and lap or replace the gears if necessary.
