Why can’t I turn on my LCD Digital Microscope #44345 and #44340 by pressing the power button?

You must hold down the power button for about 5 seconds for the Deluxe LCD Digital Microscope #44345 to turn on. You’ll see the Celestron logo on the screen when it becomes energized.
The regular LCD Digital Microscope #44340's switch does operate faster and only needs to be pressed for a couple of seconds to energize the screen.
