Yes. The Origin-678C camera has a serial number starting with “678” printed on the exterior of the housing. See the images below for examples.

I am manually processing my raw image files with third-party software, what Bayer pattern format should I use?
For #12100 Celestron Origin Mark II, or if you are otherwise using the Celestron Origin-678C camera, then you should normally use GBRG.
Q:
I am manually processing my raw image files with third-party software, and I understand that the Bayer pattern using the Origin-678C camera should be GBRG, but when I examine my raw files, they appear very green. Why is this?
I am manually processing my raw image files with third-party software, and I understand that the Bayer pattern using the Origin-678C camera should be GBRG, but when I examine my raw files, they appear very green. Why is this?
The raw image files are as the camera records them, and the Origin-678C camera is very sensitive to green. The white balance should be adjusted with the third-party software when manually processing the images. For reference, the white balance values Origin uses in its internal imaging processing software are Red=227, Green=255, Blue=139. These values are a good starting point, but additional color corrections may be needed depending on the target and conditions.
