The Celestron Labs Digital 2MP Handheld Microscope is your gateway to the microscopic world. With a magnification range of 20x to 200x, this versatile tool is perfect for examining three-dimensional objects in incredible detail—whether you’re inspecting coins and circuit boards, studying plant structures, or analyzing textiles.

Achieving your desired magnification is simple: move the microscope closer or farther from the subject (or tilt/adjust it on the stand) until you reach the right level of detail. This coarse focusing method sets your magnification. Then, use the fine-focus wheel on the microscope body to bring your subject into razor-sharp focus. Most of the microscope’s key controls—including the fine-focus wheel, polarizing filter wheel, and shutter button—are positioned for easy one-handed operation. That means you can adjust focus and lighting and capture images without disrupting your workflow.

Setup is quick and easy. Connect the microscope to your computer with the attached USB-C cable, download and launch the free Celestron Labs Digital Imaging HD software, and start exploring. The software lets you capture images and videos, take notes, and accurately measure your specimens. It’s the ideal solution for classrooms, laboratories, or quality control work.

The high-quality 2-element IR-cut glass lens and built-in 2MP digital sensor deliver sharp, vivid images directly to your computer screen. Capture still images (up to 1920 x 1080 pixels) with a click—either through the software or using the one-touch shutter button. Customize your view further with eight built-in white LEDs that provide bright, even illumination, with a brightness adjuster right on the USB cable for convenience. For reflective or wet surfaces, rotate the built-in polarizing filter to reduce glare and reveal hidden details.

For a steady, hands-free view, place the microscope on the included adjustable metal stand to keep your subject stable and precisely focused. This option is perfect for viewing larger or irregularly shaped specimens. The microscope includes a 1/4-20 thread that allows you to attach it to any standard photo tripod (sold separately), giving you more flexibility in where and how you observe. Whether you’re using a compact tabletop tripod in a tight workspace, a flexible tripod wrapped around a tree branch in the field, or a low-profile tripod for unique angles, this feature lets you position the microscope exactly where you need it. To access the thread, simply release the locking nut of the microscope clip and remove it from the stand.

Compact, portable, and easy to use, the Celestron Labs Digital 2MP Handheld Microscope brings professional-level imaging to your desktop, whether you’re a student, hobbyist, or professional researcher.
