Manual German Equatorial telescope

The AstroMaster mount comes with two slow motion control knobs that allow you to make fine pointing adjustments to the telescope in both Right Ascension and Declination axes, also referred to as RA and DEC.

Accessories Included

Accessories include a 20mm and 10mm eyepiece, a finderscope, a smartphone adapter, and an accessory kit. 

Smartphone Adapter

Image celestial or terrestrial objects with this smartphone adapter. With its light, rigid frame, this accessory allows you to connect any smartphone to any telescope eyepiece with an outside diameter of 45mm. The additional magnification provided by the eyepiece allows your phone to capture great images of the Moon and planets. This smartphone adapter installs easily by clamping over the top of an eyepiece.  The smartphone is held in position with the help of tightening knobs that securely lock your phone in place. The adapter accommodates most phones with the case on, but some large and/or bulky phone cases (including folio style cases) may need to be removed for the phone to fit in the adapter.

Accessory Kit

The Celestron AstroMaster Accessory Kit (1.25") is a comprehensive set designed to enhance your stargazing experience. It includes two fully coated eyepieces—a 15mm Kellner for medium magnification and a 6mm Plössl for higher magnification—compatible with any telescope featuring a 1.25" focuser. A 2x Barlow lens with T-threads is also provided, effectively doubling the magnification of any 1.25" eyepiece and allowing for DSLR camera attachment with an optional T-ring. To improve planetary and lunar observations, the kit offers three filters: a #80A blue filter to enhance Jupiter's cloud belts and Saturn's polar regions, a #25 red filter to highlight Martian polar ice caps, and a Moon filter to reduce glare during lunar viewing. All components are housed in a durable, foam-lined plastic carrying case, which also includes a microfiber cleaning cloth to maintain the cleanliness of your optics.
