Description
Popular Science by Celestron Labs CM400 compound microscope offers all the essential features you need in a lab or classroom microscope. The 10x eyepiece and three objective lenses (4x, 10x and 40x) allow for magnifications of 40x, 100x, and 400x.
Upper and lower lighting provides bright, detailed views with true-to-life colors for both opaque and translucent specimens. These LED illuminators stay cool to the touch even during long viewing periods. The simple condenser with rotating disc adjusts the lower illumination for enhanced viewing. All these features make the CM400 an excellent tool for students and professionals alike.
Strong and stable thanks to its all-metal construction, this special edition microscope features an adjustable stage with metal clips to center your specimen slides. The 10 included prepared slides guarantee exciting discoveries right out of the box. Rotate the monocular head to view the specimen comfortably and share the view with someone sitting across the table.
Take your microscope out of the lab and into the field with its 3 AA batteries. There’s also a universal AC power cord so you can travel internationally with your microscope.

Share your greatest discoveries with friends and family by pairing the Celestron Labs with the included smartphone adapter. This accessory connects any smartphone to the microscope eyepiece.
The eyepiece’s magnification bumps up the image scale, so you can capture stunning images of your specimen! This light, rigid smartphone adapter installs in seconds by clamping over the top of the eyepiece. Tightening knobs securely lock your phone in place. Note that some large and/or excessively bulky phone cases (including folio style cases) may need to be removed for the phone to fit in the adapter.
This special edition bundle has also provided a Bluetooth shutter release that allows you to trigger the camera’s shutter on any Android or iOS smartphone remotely, without disturbing the placement of your phone and microscope.
